I like this bit of java script so much I stole it from Des Harris (http://www.hellooldchap.ic24.net/index.htm) can't think what to do with it though . . He has lots of other things I can't steal.
Mozilla Firefox will only show a blank screen below here, but Internet Explorer will show a line of text.
