W.D. HIGH Shoemaker

William High born in 1898 ( seen below as a young man with his with his mother), was a shoemaker like his great grandfather William Pigott (1799-1874) of Weybourne who married Sarah Ann Moy a Salthouse girl, on the 26th July 1819, and settled his shoe-making business in the village.

William High is seen below in his later years in his shop in Cley.
