Born in Salthouse approx 1872, she was the daughter of Richard Pigott & Sarah Ann Pigott (née Williams) and she married Charles Friday Layton in 1891 at Salthouse.

He was born approx 1872 in Little Walsingham. The child in the pram is his great grandson Trevor.
