Harvest Thanksgiving
The Church
comes to the Pub
St Nicholas

The Harvest Thanksgiving service and supper was the greatest success, Jane Peploe decorated the pub with harvest produce: eggs and vegetables, and over £200 was donated to the charity 'Water Aid'. Father Phil talked about the words of the Lord and the seeds sown on stoney and fertile ground, hymns were sung loudly and it was so good to have it all taking place in the pub! The shepherds pie, and the individual summer puddings with cream, were excellent and it will all surely be repeated next year!
