William Hancock

William Hancock fought in the Boer War, and here he is in his uniform.

In the second picture he is with his son Gordon and wife Alice (nee High - she was Florrie Radley's sister).

Alice's nephew Jim Radley, Florrie's son who provided these photographs, pointed out that there was a certain belt which appeared in both these photos:
- in the first it is round William's army hat, and in the second round Alice's waist!
