The Folly on Great Eye c 1920 when it was known as the Rocket House for storage of Rocket Brigade life-saving gear. The island of turf on the shingle to the right is the last remnant of a once-large expanse of land called 'Flat Eye', where hay was made and village cows were brought across the marsh to graze.
In the distance is an old railway carriage which at one time was a teahouse.
