Elizabeth Cubitt was baptized 30th January 1825 in Salthouse Parish Church. She married Samuel Larkman on the 24th January 1847 (Walsingham District exact place not known) He was the brother of my* great great grandfather Robert Jackson Larkman whose daughter Alice married Arthur John Elsy the son of Joseph Elsy who was the brother in law of Martha Elsy (nee Geary) from Salthouse.

Samuel Larkman was born in Blakeney and was the youngest child of James Larkman and Catherine (nee Jackson) and in 1851 at the age of 28 he was living at Greencroft Blakeney with his wife and mother and was employed as a porter. In the census of 1841 he was an agricultural labourer living at Greencroft with his mother. His mother died in 1858 in Blakeney and by 1861 he and his wife had moved to South Shields where is elder brother Robert, a mariner, was living with his wife and family. Samuel was employed as a labourer and was living at 42 Raglan Street.

By 1881 he was a chemical worker and he and his wife were living at 10 Hardwick Street South Shields and by the time of the following census in 1891 they were living at 38-40 Gordon Street where he was by then an invalid.

Samuel died in South Shields in 1892 aged 69 and Elizabeth at 8 Canterbury Street South Shields 2 years later on the 3rd January 1904 aged 79.
